I have a question, please help.

I don't usually post questions, but I am in need of a reading list for grades 10-12, and have not been able to find one online that I can trust. Do any of you have favorite books from your high school years that you would recommend and that can be found at a local library? I have a newly saved tenth grader who lives across state, and needs a book for Christmas vacation (English assignment). If you have any advice, please comment!

I use Amblesideonline.org for our school. It has a very extensive list of books for all subjects and grades. I don't really know about the high school years since I'm teaching 1st grade right now. But maybe you could check it out.

How about A Tale of Two Cities, by Charles Dickens?
For lighter reading that is great for saved people, Bro. Al Lacy has a fun series, The Journeys of the Stranger. We have those at our local library...

We like most of Sonlight's readers! Many can be found at the local library. One list here:

Hey everyone, thanks for your help. It's kinda sad there is not a recommened book list online somewhere for IFB high schoolers. Added to my list to do - haha, doubt I'll ever get to it. *sigh* Here is another place someone told me bout: "Here are a lot of ebooks of Christian Classics. I'll start it at Pilgrims Progress by: Bunyan http://www.ccel.org/ccel/bunyan/pilgrim.html Your student may find biographies of famous Christians at the public library."
