I BELIEVE; HELP THOU MY UNBELIEF


There is a song that I have playing on my blog called "I BELIEVE TO SEE." I really love the words to this song. It says exactly how I feel in my heart. The words are:

This world is a place where we believe what we can see.
The tangible, the visible is what must really be.
BUT, HE WHO WOULD BE WISE MUST SEE WITH DIFFERENT EYES.
We live by faith, where miracles will come as no surprise.

I believe to see the goodness of the Lord.
I believe the promises He gave us in His Word.
I don't need to know the outcome of His plan.
I WILL TRUST HIS WAYS, THOUGH I CAN'T SEE HIS HAND.

We're looking for a city that's not made by human hands,
We're living for a purpose that so far exceeds our plans.
When trials take their toll beyond what we control,
WE REST UPON THE FAITHFUL ONE, THE KEEPER OF OUR SOULS..

Isn't this a wonderful song? How many times in life do we only believe what our eyes can see and fail to trust the things that God has promised us in His WORD? What a great loss to ourselves when we can only see with human eyes and not the eyes of faith. It is Faith that takes us places in life that God prepares for us. The world can not understand why we believe, but we know . Pro 9:9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser : teach a just man, and he will increase in learning .

Sometimes, we can not see God's plan fully but if we trust, we know that He is working it out for our good. It is our job to JUST TRUST HIM. Psa 91:2 I will say of the LORD , He is my refuge and my fortress : my God ; in him will I trust

I was reminded by someone that I love very much last week, that one day this life will be over and we want have to worry about people or anything anymore. Then it want matter the things that we did not understand here. We will be with the ONE who loved and loves us for ever more. Then there will be no more pain, no more sorrow or heartache. All will be joy and happiness then. So even a hundred years from now the things that break our hearts and cause us great concern will not matter anymore. If we have done our very best to love and serve the Lord, that is what matters.

God has a purpose for our life like the song says "that far exceeds our plans.When trials take their toll beyond what we control, WE REST UPON THE FAITHFUL ONE, THE KEEPER OF OUR SOULS."

Psalm 16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life : in thy presence is fulness of joy ; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
