One of Our IFBKJV.com Bloggers in Heaven

I am saddened to write, that a dear lady who was not only a member of IFBKJV.com, but also a personal friend and comfort to me, missionary Micki Harjo, recently lost a sudden battle with cancer. Her blog is at http://mickiharjo.blogspot.com/ where you can see her sweet testimony and heart for the Lord. She had one of the biggest hearts for lost souls of anyone I know, and will be so dearly missed by the family she loved and wrote of often.

Please pray for Micki and Bobby Harjo as the family faces this trial. It seems like mere weeks ago the cancer was discovered...maybe two months? I believe Micki is with the Lord now, and was an outstanding witness of His love and grace until she end of her race here on earth.

With a sad heart, but hope for a reunion one glad day,
Jessica Twardy Roberts

I heard about it at the HBBC Home Missions Conference this week. Praying for Micki's family, they're such a sweet bunch.

Amen. Are you here in OKC then?

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

How great that we serve the God of Comfort. I Thes. 4

So sorry to hear about this. Have been reading some on her blog from your link here. Just another reason we should all stay ready!

Sorry to hear she has lost the battle with cancer, but the war is not lost. She has gained Heaven. I just recently found her blog and appreciated her testimony. Sad to lose a missionary to the Indians, too.
