GOD JUST DON'T NEED OUR HELP......

ONLY GOD CAN MAKE A BUTTERFLY

GOD DON'T NEED ANY HELP

LET GOD DO HIS WORK WITH THE COCOON SO COME A BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLY~ ~ ~

"A man found a cocoon of a butterfly, and he brought it home. One day, a small opening appeared in the cocoon.

The man sat and watched the cocoon for several hours as the butterfly struggled to force its body through that little hole. Then it seemed to stop making progress. It appeared as if the butterfly had gotten as far as it could, and it could go no farther.

The man decided to help the butterfly in its struggle. He took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon...

and the butterfly emerged easily.

As the butterfly emerged, the man was surprised. It had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings. He continued to watch the butterfly expecting that, at any moment, the wings would dry out, enlarge, and expand to support the swollen body. He knew that in time the body would contract, and the butterfly would be able to fly...

but neither happened!

In fact, the butterfly spend the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings.

What the man, in his kindness and haste, did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle were required for the butterfly to be able to fly.

The butterfly must push its way through the tiny opening to force the fluid from its body and wings. Only by struggling through the opening can the butterfly's wings be ready for flight once it emerges from the cocoon." copied

I am learning that God just don't need our help. We can pray and trust that God is working out things for our good or the good of others. Those things we should do. As a wife, Mom, Sister, sometimes I just felt if I did not help God out then it just wouldn't be done. Well, what a foolish attitude to have. OUR GOD DOESN'T NEED ANY HELP!!

He sends troubles, trials and problems in our lives and the lives of others at times to cause us or them to grow and become more like Him.

Oh, we may stand by and watch, our heart breaking, tears running down our eyes because "They keep not thy law." But, where there is a Spiritual problem, God is the answer, not me and not you. Those we care about MUST drop their pride, confess their sins to God and then they can have peace and joy again in their lives. They may deny their need, refuse to see their need but it is the answer! People may go on in their misery, with troubled hearts and minds or they can give up and let God do a work in their lives.

If we like the man in the story above, try to make fixes in their lives, they will if any, only help for a short while. They will probably cause more damage to their lives. It will certainly take much longer for the change that God desires to bring about, to take place.

It is so hard to just stand by and watch.......but we want the BEST for those we love don't we? God is the best, He knows what is best and only He knows what He is trying to accomplish in a life or the life of another who is looking on.

Just thought I would share this with you all since it has been a lesson that was hard for me to learn. I hope and pray if you find yourself here, that it is an easier lesson for you to learn. The burdens will be fewer, the heartaches easier to bear when we just give it all the Lord. connie
