Blogger Explains the Recent Problems

Blogger has been down, as I'm sure all of you are aware. I thought you all might be interested in the post made today on Blogger's blog explaining the issue. Here is a link: http://buzz.blogger.com/2011/05/blogger-is-back.html.

Many of you lost your posts and comments published recently. Blogger explains that they had to roll back to a version of Blogger as of Wednesday, May 11, and the posts and comments were temporarily removed. According to this article, in the next few hours Blogger will be restoring the posts and comments that were removed.

I am so grateful to have the Blogger service. I am amazed that this is offered for free. I can't begin to imagine how many people it takes to make Blogger work. So many thousands of blogs, some going back for years! It all works so seamlessly most of the time. I am also grateful for the blessing of coming in contact with so many like-minded people through blogs. It truly has been a blessing.

"In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." (I Thessalonians 5:18)

I worked in a software shop, related to Sabre, the airline reservation system. To operate with a glitch would be miraculous. This one for Blogger would be considered a large one, but they took us back to a set point quickly. I've been there about four years and this is the first system glitch I've encountered. They are doing a good job.
